On Saturday, May 23rd, the be well. experience was born. Together, with over 400 registrants, 17 workshops and 20 plus presenters of color, we created joyous community, connection, and open and honest conversations about our wellness. We would like to thank you for saying “yes” to this experience. Our first event would not have been the same without your participation. We thank you for sharing. We thank you for engaging. We thank you for dancing. We thank you for being present. We are forever grateful, and as we continue to build out this journey... be well.
On December 12th, we're going live with our second virtual experience and theme: #BeWell, Be Present. Join us for a day filled with interactive workshops including bootcamp, financial budgeting, cooking tutorials, writing sessions, and more! All featuring leaders of color exploring what it means to be present to yourself and the world.

AbunDance creates a space for authenticity, discovery and permission, focusing on connections and our relationship to self-awareness. This activation will use different art forms such as dance, movement, poetry, and music to expand our experience with abundance and give ourselves more access to our body, our thinking, and our self-expression. Movement shifts moods and has the ability to foster abundant thinking. #BeWell

Connect with your higher self and find inner peace. Join Omar Davis, Founder of Crashbell, in this meditative activation as he helps us open up the channels to reach a more expansive part of our consciousness. You are not limited as you have been told. It is time to wake up. #BeWell
Oftentimes mental health is talked about as a hindrance to our well-being; and while people are opening up more about their mental wellness, there's still a "stigma" associated with the topic, especially for people of color. This activation focuses on shifting conversations around mental health as a vital part of our holistic wellness. Coach Barry leads an engaging workshop and conversation around how we connect to our mental wellness and gives us the tools to look at this part of our health as a journey of self-development and mental growth. When you better understand your mental health, you become a more holistic person. We will explore what it means to take control of who we are at what it means to be mentally healthy #BeWell
We’re living in unusual times and as professionals of color our communities and network are our sustainability. In this panel activation, ManiFeast invites us to explore our professional wellness through the lens of transformation in order to manifest careers, dreams, and goals.

Join the founder of Young, Black + Quarantined as she pays homage to a black Millennial game favorite: Black Card Revoked. Black Card Revoked is a fun and nostalgia-filled game celebrating American black popular culture. It's bound to create joyous community and invoke hilarious debates. Make sure to dust up on your black cultural knowledge so you don't get your black card revoked!
From #BlackGirlMagic to #BlackLiveMatters, and even the viral memeable moments of Black Twitter, social media has become OUR platform to be seen, heard, and unapologetic. This panel explores how conversations around culture and safe spaces are had on social media and what role community wellness plays in it all.

In this interactive cooking session, attendees will have the opportunity to transform basic ingredients into a healthy nutritional meal. You will be creating Healthy Chicken Pacatta! A little goes a long way, even in the kitchen. In this interactive cooking activation, attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to use minimal ingredients to create multiple healthy dishes.
